Redesign of the Showroom in Vienna:
A New Space for Inspiration



Showrooms are the flagships of a brand - places where innovations can be experienced and customers can be inspired. With the redesign of our showroom in Vienna, we have achieved exactly that: a modern, versatile environment that reflects the values of the Interstuhl brand and showcases the latest developments in office and working environments. In this article, we reveal why this redesign was necessary and what highlights the Vienna showroom has to offer.


The Showroom Vienna: A Place with History


Our showroom is located in a building with a special charm - the historic Ankerbrotfabrik in Vienna. This location combines industrial architecture with modern design and provides an impressive stage for our office furniture. The characteristic brick pillars and spacious areas create an inspiring atmosphere that encourages creative work and experimentation.

 

The Redesign: More Than Just a Facelift


With the redesign of the showroom, we are systematically realising the concept of the modern working world. Our aim was to create not just a presentation space for furniture, but a working environment in which New Work is actively lived. This includes the innovative space and seating solutions that we presented at Orgatec 2024: QOMFORT, CHECK, HEJ and SHUFFLE LOUNGE. These concepts combine design with comfort and flexibility - characteristics demanded by today's working world.



Design & Atmosphere: A New Look & Feel


The visual redesign of the showroom follows a clear style concept: Warm Tropics. Wooden panels with an acoustic effect, large carpets with trendy patterns and a well thought-out colour scheme create a pleasant and inspiring atmosphere. Special design elements, such as illuminated letters, black water pipes as swivel chair shelves and extravagant colour combinations, set modern accents and give the room a unique character.

 

Workspace Solutions in the Showroom


Not only the presentation areas have been modernised - the workstations in the showroom have also been redesigned. Thanks to height-adjustable tables, we now offer four agile workstations that are managed via the smart goconut booking system. In addition, two separate offices have been modernised and equipped with an improved acoustic and lighting solution. Our aim is not only to show our customers our products, but also to offer them a genuine New Work experience.

 

Backforce: a New World of Experience for End Customers


Another new feature is the integration of the gaming chair brand Backforce into the showroom. End customers now have the opportunity to book an appointment on site and test the products before buying. This expansion strengthens our market presence in the B2C sector and offers gaming and office enthusiasts the opportunity to experience the quality of Backforce first-hand.
